Hons Track Students

Established in 2000 as a way to recognise high achievement in Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Physics, early every year the Institute of Fundamental Sciences invited first year students on the Turitea site of Palmerston North campus who have shown excellence in the Bursary examination (or equivalent achievement) to become Millennium List Scholars. Second or third year students who achieved excellence in the previous year's study were invited to join the Millennium List Scholars. From 2008, these scholars are invited to become Honours Track Students.

Honours Track Scholars receive

access to common room and computer facilities
a mentor from the academic staff
involvement with staff in scientific and social activities
associate membershiip of the Institute
recognition of your excellence in your Curriculum Vitae
