| | Parshotam Prize in Differential Equations
Dr Aroon and Mrs Kavita Parshotam, graduates of the University, have provided a prize for students enrolled in 400-level mathematics papers with substantial content involving differential equations. The prize shall be known as the Parshotam Prize in Differential Equations.
- The prize shall be $100 cash, donated by Dr and Mrs Parshotam.
- The prize shall be awarded annually to the best student completing 20 points at 700 level offered by the Department of Mathematics and involving differential equations or their applications.
- The prize may be shared.
- The prize shall be awarded by Council on the recommendation of the Head of Department of Mathematics.
